ABOUT COLLEGE

Shri Nagpur Gujarati Mandal, known erstwhile as Shri Nagpur Gujarati Kelwani Mandal, a hundred year old institution, devoted to a noble cause of spreading education in educationally backward areas, established VMV Commerce, JMT Arts and JJP Science College in 1969 in Wardhaman Nagar. Since then, it has grown into a multi-disciplined under Graduate and Post Graduate teaching institution and has been adding feathers each year commencing courses to enhance employability of the students.

The college has been accredited B+ by NAAC during its third cycle of assessment and accreditation.The college has a strength of around 6500 students. It offers 8 undergraduate programmes, namely, B.Com., B.A., B.Sc., B.B.A., B.C.A., B.C.C.A. & B.Voc. and 9 Post graduate programmes, namely, M.A. (English), M.A. (Hindi), M.A. (Economics), M.Com., M.Sc. (Physics), M.Sc. (Chemistry) and M.Sc. (Mathematics).  

            The college provides modern facilities of learning and development to students. The college has a state of the art Auditorium Seminar Hall and Conference Hall equipped with modern gadgets, Open Air Auditorium, Language Lab, Digital Class Rooms, Internet Facility for students, Audio-Video recording centre, Make-up room and Abhimanch for Acting and Stage Craft, E-Library Facility, Wi-Fi enabled campus etc. The RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur has recognized the college as a place of Higher Learning and Research in Commerce & English faculty.
