Overview of Career Katta

Career Katta at VMV Commerce, JMT Arts, and JJP Science College was established in the 2022-23 academic session as a dynamic platform designed to prepare students for the professional world by equipping them with essential skills, career guidance, and networking opportunities. The initiative has quickly gained momentum, and the college was recognized as a Center of Excellence for its efforts in facilitating student career growth. With this recognition, the college has become a leading hub for career development, attracting over 1,002 student registrations for the 2023-24 session alone. As part of Career Katta’s initiatives, a Career Sansad (Career Parliament) was also established within the college to foster a collaborative environment for skill development and career exploration. Through the Career Sansad, students are encouraged to take an active role in shaping their career paths, exploring fields of interest, and participating in discussions, workshops, and competitions. Career Katta provides a comprehensive suite of resources, including career counseling, training sessions, workshops, and seminars that cover technical and soft skills alike. These programs are specifically tailored to meet the needs of today’s job market, covering areas like digital marketing, coding, finance, data analysis, and communication.
