On 26th August 2025, the student council was established under the banner of “Career Katta” in the auditorium at VMV Commerce JMT Arts & JJP Science College , Nagpur. This program is an initiative of Maharashtra State Higher & Technical Education Department in collaboration with Maharashtra Information Technology Support Centre. The council members were constituted and felicitated by the Chairman Mr. Nitin Gaikwad, Department of English. The Chairman in his lucid style emphasized on the importance of career opportunities in competitive exams, value of time, its allocation and focus on vision for the future.  The Team of 13 members were formed as per the directions given by the MSHTED & MITSC, Mumbai. He also felicitated the Newly elected members of the Career Sansad and emphasized on taking active participation in activities conducted by the career Katta. The total number of students who participated and benefited from the program were 369.
